Propagated Hodgkin-Huxley Action Potential
To simulate propagation in the nerve axon, seven patches of membrane are coupled together through resistors. A pulse stimulus is applied and as each patch fires its action potential, it supplies current to stimulate the next patch downstream. Vary the radius, internal resistivity, and maximum sodium conductance to see how they change the propagation velocity.
